Whatever. So your forum-jokes and silly gifs no longer make any sense. 'Triggered' probably works better with the event's context.

You have to admit that the use of "do/did it" in the comic is slightly...awkward?

I'm still pissed though.

To those of you not watching other threads I give you another shattering blow from DD:

Quote:
"Hollis Mason's death is cut. You cannot blame Snyder for this. The suits forced him to whittle down the film so it would fit on IMAX projectors."

Don't shoot the messenger. DD, here's a question we should probably just get out in the open now:

What is cut? Tell us everything and we can all get it out of our system.

That's obviously been "Yes" from the beginning.

Yey! That actually makes me really happy. Becuase in the book they make it seem like Dan just went on with his life after Rorschach died without any sence of remorse. Rorschach was a good friend of his and he was just exploded, you think there'd be an emotional reaction there. Good move on Snyder's part there methinks.

He is screaming at all the crap that was cut and the changed lines:

1. No rorschach at happy harrys breaking fingers.

2. No Hollis Mason death scene.

3. Changing one of the most memoable lines from the book. "I did it 35 minutes ago"

I'm really starting to see where Alan Moore is coming from with all this hollywood crap.

In the GN, we did not see anyones reaction. When I read the book I felt there was reaction, just was not shown.

Does Dan at least hear about Hollis's death, although it's not on screen?

Wait... what the fuck? The death of Hollis Mason ISN'T in? There's that shot from the Japanese trailer where the knot-tops hit him with the statue! I guess it'll make the DVD.
Questions:
When did they use "Sound of Silence" and "All Along the Watchtower" and "Ride of the Valkyries?"
Does Rorschach slay the German shepherds?

DID YOU LIKE IT?

Well the point I was getting at is they didn't show anything. It's nice that in the adaptation the are handleing some of the scene's a bit better then the book, adding a little emotional reaction that fit's to the screen.

Quick question, DDC:

Jerry has a CD case that contains 4 country music CDs, 1 rock-and-roll CD, 2 rap CDs, and 3 Tejano CDs. What is the probability of Jerry randomly selecting a Tejano CD and then, without replacing it, randomly selecting a rap CD from his case?

I've got 2 to throw in:

How was the Cold War tension dealt with in the film?

And to what a couple of others have asked...How did you feel once you left the cinema?

Happy Harry's scene was filmed, I'm sure. The "Rorschach's Mask" video journal showed them filming it.

It seems a lot of stuff has been cut.

They literally FAILED HARD at just putting a simple "I did it 35 minutes ago" in, they just had to change it. I mean, why is it so hard use "did" instead of "triggered". :x

 I hope DDC actually answers this question.
