...and me, in a certain way... :D

I know this probably don't belong here so Curi, you're free to merge it wherever and whenever you want. But just leave it for a while so people can see Dave Gibbons giving DD a nice huh...eulogy...

Omelete Interviews: Dave Gibbons
An exclusive talk with Watchmen's illustrator
01/03/2009

Érico Borgo

In nine years of its existence, Omelete had the honor of talking to living legends of comic books such as Alan Moore, Frank Miller and Neil Gaiman. Now, on an exclusive interview with David Gibbons, we close circle of comic book makers thar revolutionized the genre and the Nineth Art language in the 80's. Gibbons, after all, illustrated Watchmen, a graphic novel written by Moore, released few months after Frank Miller's Batman - The Dark Knight.

Our conversation with Gibbons was the last one from his very busy schedule in Los Angeles in the middle of February for the publicizing of Watchmen - The Movie. Tired, very excited about the adaptation and about talking of his career and works, the illustrator began to talk interested in meaning of Omelete's name, that he met in two other ocasions.

Dave Gibbons: You were the ones who published Watchmen's review yesterday, weren't you? (yea Dave, i posted it here, man)

Yes! How do you know that? The site is written in portuguese!

I got links of cool stuff. I already knew Omelete from the Watchmen trailers you published.

(hehe...I sent to Omelete some of the latest trailers and tv ads)

It's such a honor!

I see them at Watchmencomicmovie.com. I know the site's editor. He's very professional.

yea, DD the man loves you.

I'll publish the rest of the interview transcription later.

I am so out of his selection for favorite member.

"If you can't even get the name right, what are you even doing here?"

The name was already taken, Dave! Taken, ya hear?!
