For a while now I've noticed that it takes longer than usual to post a message. There seems to be a lag after I click "submit". Before the lag was pretty brief and I would be taken to my newly posted message. Now the lag seems longer, and I usually end up clicking on board index or whatever section I'm in just to take me out of that screen. Is my computer slow or has anyone else noticed this?

Yeah, I've noticed this too. The web host has probably grouped too many sites together for the available resources. Same thing's happened with my host recently.

It's happened to me too. It seems to post the actual message instantaneously, but it can take awhile for it to actually take me to the thread with my new message.

So basically, what's already been said. BUT NOW WE'RE THREE STRONG!!!!!!!!

HELL YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i've found myself impatient a couple of times and clicked submit again only for it to tell me that someone else has posted, that someone else being me, so obviously the actual message posting is fine, but something has slowed down. WCM used to be one of the quickest sites i went to. not any more though
to be honest though i don't notice it on my home laptop, perhaps it's because i use chrome, but on my work pc with IE6, and probably an awful DNS it's very noticable.
it could juse be down to what DNS people are using, i used to only use the default but these days i have a few backup DNS addresses and they do make the net feel faster.

and AYB, i noticed your blog is getting REALLY slow on my work pc too.

Yeah, that's basically what's happening.

I thought I was the only one, it's resulted in a few double posts from me on accident
