Sunshine was great. Gotta love Danny Boyle.

Second viewing, it still sucks. What annoys me is that the psychic says "don't play games with [the spirit] that's inviting it in" and what do these idiots do? They buy a Ouija board! For Gods' sake, the first thing I learned when I started studying the occult is that you NEVER try to contact the spirits. Like the psychic in the movie said, good spirits will communicate when they wish it, the evil ones wait for you to contact them. So, it's basically those idiots' own fault for what happens in the film.

However, there are a few scenes I like. My favorite are the scenes were Kate just sits and stares at her sleeping boyfriend. It was one of the few parts that made me cringe.

You know how people have a tendency to do things that they're told not to do?

I know, I know, but that seems to be one of the biggest cliches in the 'haunted-house' type movie. I'm just bein' nitpicky is all.

Danny Boyle kicks too much ass, i hope he decides to make Solomon Grundy, a movie which was supposed to be very similar to Benjamin Button.

He does indeed. I'm looking forward to it. Even though the plot will be similar, I have no doubt in my mind that it will be fantastic (if he actually makes it).

I think he could be the perfect choice to direct a Bond film.

I just tried watching Romance & Cigarettes. I'm not sure how many of you are familiar with The Nostalgia Critic, but this movie is what I would consider one big "Big-Lipped Alligator Moment". I haven't seen such a mindfucky musical with Susan Sarandon and an effeminate Brit since The Rocky Horror Picture Show. :?

Two of the weirdest and most ridiculous fantasy movies I've ever seen.

Transformers 2: revenge of the fallen.

Meh, say what you want about this movie, I thought it was great. The forest scene is pretty good, and overall it's the same as the first one. And I loved the first one.

7/10

The only thing i loved from the first one was the animation and the CGI, it was blastingly amazingly superbly awesomely great, but apart from that, a flat 4/10.

I don't think the first movie was that bad. In fact I'd probably give it at least a 6.5. There were parts that were genuinely humorous and I did like Shilah Lebouf as Sam Witwickey. But TF2 is proof why Michael Bay should never, EVER, be allowed to work on a movie without some sort of supervision.

Exactly. I mean, yeah, Sam's mom got high. Yeah, poop and pee jokes.

SO?

I wanted to snap Bay's neck at the whole segment of the movie where the autobots were trying to hide from Sam's parents, that was one of my worst memories from that movie.

If he wants to made grade school jokes, he should just start directing the *insert title* Movie movies. That's what Transformers feels like, a parody of the actual series.

It's not the fact that TF2 is all style and no substance that bothers me about that movie (I've enjoyed plenty of movies where all there is to it is shit blowing up. What can I say, I'm addicted to violence). The problem is the fact that the pee jokes, the "LOL GUYS LETS FOLLOW SAM'S MOM FOR 10 MINUTES WHILE SHE'S HIGH ON WEED" joke, the sterotypically black robots who do nothing but call each other bitches and punkasses are dumb even for Michael Bay. I mean with Bad Boys II, sure that movie was dumb as hell, but it was dumb in a fun kind of way. There's just something entertaining about Will Smith engaging in a gun fight with the KKK. I can't say the same thing for Transformers 2. It literally felt like Michael Bay was insulting my intelligence.

Seriously, man?

Well, to each its own (I believe that's the way to say it). The thing is, that for me, a movie is bad when I can't forget that I'm watching a movie. No matter if the plot is stupid (which TF2 is), if I have to ask how more minutes are left, well, that's a movie that failed.

In the case of TF2 it was "Dude, this is so... weird, but I HAVE to keep watching". In the case of Twilight it was "...god damn it, one and a half hour more? FUCK YOU MOVIE".

I think it should be "To each their own." because "to each its own" seems to imply that inanimate objects can have opinions.

Anyway yeah Transformers and stuff.
