Thought I would resurrect this thread after seeing Idris Elba (Stringer Bell) on The Office. He's been in several episodes. For the longest time I've tried to think of who he reminded me of. Then it hit me. He's a dead ringer for boxer Tommy Hearns!

When I saw 28 Weeks Later I burst out 'Stringer Bell!!'

And you're right - those two look v. similar...

lol why thank you!!
That's the problem with using "View New Posts", see. You can't see who's birthday it is at the bottom of the page!!!

Anyway, you're in for a treat! (Did you finish the first season?)

Got a couple left. Trying to let my oldest daughter catch up. Been holding back as they tend to get seen in a flash. Now I have more to gawp at. Life is good.

Season 3, I rank second because it seemed to be a return to form.

Now that I've finally gotten through all of them, I have to rank Season Four as the best. Snoop and Chris? Duquan and Michael? There was some intense shit in this season.

I'd rank it higher had I not ruined season 4 by watching several clips on youtube thinking I probably wasn't going to watch the whole series.

Started the third series. One show in...

I had no complaints about the second — I enjoyed it a lot.

Thx Ayb.

My usual work machine is off the net due to a nasty virus. I am not going online with that machine ever again.

But I admit I haven't had the urge to post around here much these days. Life goes on, I guess.

Half way through the last episode of the fourth series. Great stuff!

Got both my daughters hooked, too. I'll re-watch series 3 and 4 with them as they have both, separately, seen the first two.

Epic.

No doubt. Haven't visited this thread in a while. I think more members of this site should check out The Wire. I mean, if Alan Moore thinks it was the best television show ever, that's got to entice some people to watch it, right?

The Wire is still the most ambitious program that I've seen to date.

Cool clips!

I saw a younger, slimmer "Bunk" in the investigation scene in Woody Allen's "Manhattan Murder Mystery".

I thought I was seeing things at first, but after checking the Imdb role-list for the film I found out that I was sane after all. ;o)

As requested by a Mr Alan M of Northampton, a Watchmen/Wire crossover movie is being made!

That actor played Telly in Kids:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ky8wG7k8WUI

The Wire I found that it was actors that I would recognize on it from other shows. In particular, from OZ:
