"Ardeth Bay" sounds like a beach resort

An entertaining zombie movie, it didn't end as I thought it would, nicely done.

It was alright, but I don't really think that I would recommend it to anyone.

Starship Troopers

What the hell have I been missing all this time?

There are a few missed opportunities for satire in here, but the opportunities taken are still quite good. There are a few cliches here, but they're all used toward developing the characters and the movie doesn't always take the obvious path.

The bottom line is that this is a wonderful "coming of age in the military" tale, wrapped in visceral action and whip-smart science fiction. See it immediately, even if you already have.

This is not a good movie, but it isn't as terrible as some critics made it to be.

yeah... I've seen this movie 44 times since 1997.
Including 3 times in theaters.
I have it on VHS, DVD, and Blu Ray. And NOBODY will ever believe me that this movie is fucking awesome.
Even if you couldnt grasp the satire the actioin/sci-fi is so cool and unique.
I know every line,, every character, i can tell you the entire movie in my sleep!

I walked out of the theater. It was nothing but immature sex jokes all the way through.
You want good buddy cop movies go rent Showdown In Little Tokyo or Lethal Weapon.
Both a solid 9/10

i felt Cop Out was 3/10

But the dialogue is so terrible. Plus the chick should have totally died. Otherwise, it's an alright film. I refuse to see the sequels ever again.

its meant to be. the commentary describes it as "intentionally shallow and cliche characterizations of the ideal teens for a military story like this" so its supposed to be a tad corny.

The cliches are just sugar to help the sci-fi satire go down. They were also used very strategically in the masterful character development and the movie didn't always take the obvious path.

I've seen some of it on tv a few times in the past but I can never bring myself to watch the whole thing. I'm not really sold on those actors.
