Her resemblance to Rene Zellweger probably did help either:

She's prettier than Rene Zellweger though.

..................

I think I'd rather have a Pre-Bridget Jones diaries Zellweger.

Zelwegger was hot as hell in Empire Records

I haven't seen Chasing Amy in such a long time, but is it really that much of a chick flick?

Having said that, it truly is the best thing Smith has done outside of Clerks.

It really isn't..........at all.

I kinda just assumed Mister Pain was on some hardcore meth.

Where's the review?

I generally don't type up reviews for movies I've already seen. I find that most of my inspiration comes from the fresh impressions of discovering a movie for the first time.

Also, the movie speaks pretty darn loudly for itself.

So Chasing Amy beats

Mallrats
Dogma
Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back

????

No.

No.

I feel like Chasing Amy is more meaningful and down to earth than all of those put together.

That may be (I actually haven't seen Chasing Amy, it's one of like two View Askewniverse films I haven't seen), but I don't think it makes it better than the above mentioned.

One of the only Smith films I haven't seen. When i am looking for meaningful and down-to-earth, why the fuck would I look to Smith??????

Maybe i will catch it on late night HBO sometime, but I'm sure not gonna hunt down a film with the lamest of the chasing/hunting/being titles of that period EVER.

EDIT: And, as you can tell from my 'quote' skills... this meth is kickin' my ass!

I actually put all those 3 movies ABOVE Clerks!

You don't. Which is partly why it's so effective.

It's statements like this that make me say with confidence it is his most over rated film.
