You can't really have Carnage without Venom, so I don't think he would be in. Kraven would be a nice choice, but you'd have to throw in a second villain to make him more interesting (Kraven = not that interesting). I'd say Kraven and Mysterio or Rhino would be a good team-up.

Well, I already explained how you could have Carnage without Venom (does anyone read my posts?) and I think Kraven is plenty interesting on his own.

He's either drunk or he's never read a Kraven story.

Neither, he's just WJK.

For my part, I've always thought Kraven to be the weirdest Spider-Man villain, had I known more villains the first time I saw him, I would've still said he was the weirdest to me, yet there is something incredibly recognizable about a hunter as a villain, it's a resonating archetype, and one that not many superheroes have.

I think Kraven would work well as the second movie's villain because New York just had a giant lizard running around, he could be attracted to the city because of that, then hear that Spider-man defeated him, and thus spider-man becomes his target.

also is it just me or is this lizard
http://geektyrantsquared.squarespace.co ... 9254582182
more mutated than this lizard
http://geektyrantsquared.squarespace.co ... 9254354446

eyes further apart, more feral looking, more green, either a more final mutation or one of the SWAT lizards?

If you at least haven't read Kraven's Last Hunt, then kindly fuck off and do so.

I just thought of something pretty small. Even though a lot of people think it's pretty silly and impractical, if Spider-man just has some under-arm webbing for a brief amount of time in the film, that'd be pretty cool. Just tiny little nods to the comics like that.

These are the things I think about at night.

Totally agree, why not give him under arm webbing? It's not like it's impractical, but I doubt they have done it, they would have shown it in the trailer surely.

Saw the trailer in a packed audience ahead of the hunger games and the response was super lackluster. Very few people seemed interested in the idea, and I wonder just how burnt out on spider man people are. I have to admit I have 0 personal interest in seeing this movie yet if you look on the internet people seem absolutely ravenous for it. I guess what I'm asking is what's the hype v sales factor here? How well does this movie actually have the chance to do?

For contrast, the audience seemed much more excited about Abraham Lincoln vampire hunter.

I've never liked it when the words "Spider-Man's armpits" pop up in my head.

Actually I saw it at the only movie theater in Harlem.

My audience was more like this:

^You blew my mind with the "Harlem has a movie theater" part.

Kind of interesting, but the last part is a little like "Big deal." seeing as how it wasn't even a radioactive spider in the 2002 version.

"radioactive" was just a Stan Lee buzz word, as long as PP is bitten by a spider, i don't care if it's radioactive, genetically modified, or just spun it's web to close to an old microwave. (that would actually be a pretty cool way to do it :D)
