So this is the upcoming 300 parallel movie...

http://www.cinemablend.com/new/Zack-Sny ... 19869.html

And Miller is working on the GN, which will come out and then I'm sure the movie will begin to take major steps once that's out.

Anyone else really excited for this?

snyder shouldn't write an entire story before miller even finishes it, but starting to plan visuals and dialogue is a good way to begin.

Not another one...

*EDIT
Too late now, but I should've said this:
"Another one? This is madness!"

lol I think I'm with Diego a little. 300 was pretty cool looking, but at the end of the day I could take it or leave it.

Snyder's not directing, but he's written it and is, I'm guessing, producing.

I don't think it's going to work without Zack. He made 300 what it was. That said, I'm glad he's not doing it but I wish nobody was doing it at all.

300 was sort of like lightening in bottle. The trailer, the marketing, it just hit the right tone when it came out. Which is why I suspect a sequel wouldn't be as big a success as 300 was when it first came out.

I hated the first, but I can almost guarantee that this will suck. The only thing the original had going for it was Snyder's style (as with all his films), so the second you take him out of the equation, whatever was left in the first place will surely come crashing down.

If this is to work, then Snyder eventually has to take point, as Jackson did for The Hobbit.

GDT's Hobbit would've been amazing.
