Is it just me or does that look an awful lot like Fox's logo for the Fantastic Four?

I've seen other people mention that, but it's just because it's that silvery grey color. If I were them I'd keep the yellow and red, but it does make more sense with it being a military team and all.

Because a lot of Marvel logos look the same.

Well, When you think about it both teams were made by Stan the Man and the logo people probably were the same, and a 4/A look quite a bit alike anyways

But if you can get other talent for cheaper.... they'd be stupid not to take it. Especially when it's some one like Whedon that is the cheaper version.

Remember they are running a business and need to make cost effective movies

I understand that, but now they might not have Jon Favreau for Iron Man 3 because he'd be expensive.

Also, I forgot to mention that I completely disagree with what the article says about Iron Man 2. It was awesome.

No the way I read it was that because he's doing iron man to pay him for the iron man series AND the avengers series would be way too much scrilla

Also this led me to think Favreau was being unreasonable in his demands

It does seem like Favreau pulled a Chris Tucker move on Marvel, I can't conceive how he is more expensive than geek-meister Whedon.

Maybe, but it was just annoying to hear after Edward Norton being dropped.

It might have more to do with finding people who don't want as much creative control.

I thought Norton was dropped because they didn't like his work?

I love Norton, I love the 25th hour.

But he was asking a little too much for The Avengers, and no, he wasn't the best Banner *shields himself from the rage of godziller*

Whedon, though a significantly better director, hasn't grossed as much on the big screen.

Despite what they say, I have a hard time fully believing an unnamed "reliable source". And I thought Favreau said time and time again he didn't want to direct Avengers.
