This looks amazing. Phoenix' character seems fascinating, I wonder how he will fit into the plot. This looks very different from what I expected and that's a great thing.

Looks interesting, is it supposed to be inspired by scientology? That was started back in those days wasn't it m

Yup, it's inspired by scientology. PTA and co. have been saying it's not but it more than obviously is.

I'm thoroughly intrigued. Joaquin Phoenix reminds me a bit of Mel Gibson in that teaser, but without the anti-semitism.

Awww yeah. I'm sure this movie will be very divisive and controversial, but given the subject matter, that's just to be expected and I can't wait.

Also, the release date was moved up to September 14 so it will be slowly expanding across the US afterwards.

So yeah, I actually didn't grasp who Paul Thomas Anderson was until about half an hour ago and then I went back and actually watched the trailers for this. Now I'm hoping to see it Wednesday.

Saw it today.

Admittedly, I don't think that's one of my stronger reviews. There's just way too much about this movie that I wanted to cover, and I'm way too tired to find the right words. Suffice to say it's a brilliant film, absolutely one of the best of the year, go see it, I'm off to bed.
