That and I don't think it's a terribly funny show.

watched another episode of X-Files last night.
I think we're into season 6...
and you can tell they're scrambling to find uncoventional (even for x-files) stories to use per episode now that (spoilers?) Mulder and Scully are off the X-Files. First few episodes of the season, Mulder would constantly seek out weird shit that would end up in an X-File, and then go after it, dragging Scully into it too. Then they'd get scolded by their new AD Kirsch and he's say "YOU'RE NO LONGER IN THE X-FILES!".
Because obviously this would get monotonous after 3-4 episodes, they just had other stuff happen around him.
Still interesting, but for once I kind of miss the procedural nature.
I must be one of the only X-Files fans who doesn't eat up these MASSIVE sub plots winding into every season.
For some it must keep them watching.
For me its kind of annoying.
Like 'LOST', you always have more questions than answers.

However the episode was cool. 7.7/10

Hey guys, long time no see.

Any of you planning to catch the premiere of "A Gifted Man" tomorrow on CBS? I just learned about it yesterday during a commercial and was like "Oh look! It's Nite Owl!" So, I want to see if it interests me.

I might watch it now that I know of its existence. That reminds me, though, we should watch Hard Candy sometime.

But yeah, I don't actually follow many television shows. Only two, I think.

I stand by my comment.

At first I thought you were talking about our NiteOwl, and wondered what you were talking about. Apparently Jonathan Demme will be directing an episode or two so that should be interesting.

Sorry but I've been interested in ghosts ever since I saw one at age 12.
Also the TAPS team actually goes into a haunting trying to disprove it... that way any evidence they actually bring to the table is good.

Yeah, no, I'm sure they try to disprove the premise of their hit show.

Definitely.

I didn't think the tv show thread was the appropriate place to call Jester pet names.

Yeah, no, I'm sure you know more than me about a show you never watch.
They try to disprove each individual case... not the concept of ghosts in general.

Reading is fun, isn't it?

Pretty sure they over-sensitize their instruments to do the exact opposite, but whatever.

I dislike Ghost Hunters, you like Ghost Hunters. We can leave it at that, but I'll give you the last word if you want.

Y U NO LIKE WHAT I LIKE

Just wait until you see a ghost.

(also there's a difference between "over-sensitize" and "catch a full bodied apparition on full spectrum camera." The latter they did last week)

Hah, no, I don't.

I do call her Forum Member Number 1827 sometimes, though.

Oh, another thing. Does anyone here watch Suits? I just watched the first series and I'm eagerly awaiting the second season next year. Harvey is a magnificent bastard. And he's dapper as hell. I don't even wear suits and I'm jealous of them.
