Here’s the adults-only, audio NSFW version of the toned-down green band trailer for Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane’s feature debut Ted, which aired tonight during the boundary-pushing animated TV series. Mark Wahlberg plays a grown man who meets the woman of his dreams (Mila Kunis) but has to contend with his teddy bear [Seth MacFarlane who is also the writer and director] who came to life as the result of a childhood wish. The Universal release is slated to open July 13.

Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane brings his boundary-pushing brand of humor to the big screen for the first time as writer, director and voice star of Ted.

In the live action/CG-animated comedy, he tells the story of John Bennett (Mark Wahlberg), a grown man who must deal with the cherished teddy bear who came to life as the result of a childhood wish...and has refused to leave his side ever since.

I'd pretty much lost all hope in Seth MacFarlane but with this he might redeem himself

I love Mark Wahlberg's comedy, but Seth MacFarlane... eugh...
Seems kinda one-jokey - childhood stuff made "adult" humour. Boring.

The bits where Ted and Whalberg interact seem pricless.I´m pretty pumped for this.

That being said i´m gonna wait for the dvd...

Yeah, I think the chemistry between Wahlberg and MacFarlane surprisingly works well...however, everything else looks pretty meh.

I believe the working title of this was "What If Peter Griffin Were A Teddy Bear?".

I actually think this looks pretty cool, it's a simple concept:

Marky Mark + Crude Teddy Bear = Laughter

Don't know why people have to get all snobby about it

My problem with it is it feels terribly familiar.

^ True.

Though, to be honest, it's like Avatar to me, familiar concept, but if well executed, it can be worth it.

It's a fucking teddy bear for crying out loud ! Don't tell me you're not interested !

I can't figure out for the life of me why you didn't like Avatar when all Marvel Movies were just as troperific !

I haven't bothered to look at any footage but if that teddy bear in the first post has Seth's smooth voice and he's hanging out with Marky Mark then I'd check it out fo sho.
