Let's just say wood has nothing to envy from mister Hunman.

Still, I'd like someone other than.................Taylor Kitsch.

Actually, you might not.

I'm fairly certain he's box office poison.

You know why ? Probably because Liam Neeson didn't say:

"THEY SUNK OUR BATTLESHIP !"

Yeah...That was actually profoundly disappointing. It would have shed a little light on the torture that was the majority of that movie.

Hey, I'm not a fan of Kitsch either. Then again, Human Torch needs a young, reckless, handsome man, and finding someone of the type who can act is no mean feat.

Really, who else have we got? Chris Evans has outgrown the role, and it's not like Ryan Gosling's an option either. Ryan Reynolds? No thank you. Garrett Hedlund? Ha! God forbid we start getting so desperate as to consider Robert Pattinson or Taylor Lautner as viable candidates.

Taylor Kitsch's turn as John Carter wasn't bad, which leads me to think that he might simply be a decent actor with crappy luck choosing roles. For better or worse, he might be the best we've got.

Unless... What about Liam Hemsworth?

Quote:
There’s been plenty of movement on Josh Trank’s forthcoming reboot of Fantastic Four over the last few days, with Matthew Vaughn confirmed as producer and now Seth Grahame-Smith coming on board to do a script treatment.

The project’s existing script was written by Jeremy Slater, but Grahame-Smith (who wrote the script for Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter) has now been approached to give it a bit of a polish.

It’s not the film’s only high-profile appointment of the week, with Mark Millar confirming that Matthew Vaughn will come on board in a production capacity.

“Just off the phone with Fox and some excellent news," Millar posted on Twitter. "Matthew Vaughn is producing Josh Trank's Fantastic Four reboot.”

Huh. A wonderful talent comes in just as a shitty talent does. This ought to be interesting.

Well, he does have blonde hair so I think he's perfect casting!

The problem being, Johnny and Sue are siblings, so making Johnny black means making Sue black, I'd say the fact that Johnny kind of have an iconic look of being white/blonde especially since they are heroes that show their faces.

Honestly, I'd rather them make Reed black than Johnny.

Personally, I think he's an outstanding fit for the character. If they want to make Sue his adoptive sibling, no skin off my back.

Is he iconic? We're talking the Human Torch here, not Superman.
