This'll probably end up being the most faithful live-action adaptation of the costume to date by the looks of it. Add this along with Jamie Foxx and Paul Giamatti and I'm pretty excited for this movie.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around Paul Giamatti as the Rhino. I can't begin to imagine what that's going to look like.

Yeah, it's got to be the most out there casting decisions I can think of. I have to assume, though, that he'll end up being like the Hulk, in that he'll be CGI, with Giamatti possibly doing the voice.

Hahahaha! Yeah, that's pretty fucking out there, man. I've yet to even see the first Marc Webb Spider-Man, but for this insane idea alone, I'm excited for the sequel.

I kind of wish they had called the movie "The Spectacular Spider-Man". It would have been a nice nod to the comic books.

R.I.P. Gwen Stacy

Emma Stone is probably more attractive, but it's difficult to date a corpse.

It'll either be a mutation or a suit, either way, he'll be buried under a load of CGI, it doesn't really matter what the build of the actor is.

Ouch.

I wouldn't go that far, but as far as looks go, she looks miscast. Unless Mary Jane is being written to be less of a bombshell. Still, I feel like Emma Watson would probably have made a better Mary Jane.

That picture doesn't do her justice though, that chick was in the descendants and she is pretty damn hot.

But even at her best, I have a hard time believing she could pull of a line like "Face it Tiger, you just hit the jackpot!".

Also, I just realized I said Emma Watson would have made a better MJ, when I mean Emma Stone.

Now Emma Stone could say that line. I'll never understand how they chose to have her play Gwen Stacy over Mary Jane.

On the one hand, I'll heartily agree that she was way hot in The Descendants. On the other hand, it's worth remembering that she wore a bikini through most of that film's running time.

With regards to the picture, get back to me once the people in makeup and lighting have worked their magic.

I.......don't think you're right about that.

Then again, I need to finish that movie.

Okay, maybe "most" is a bit of an exaggeration, but still.
