Respectfully, NiteOwl, I don't think it's fair comparing this one to the upcoming Arkham Knight monstrosity. That one looks like even more of a rolling junk heap than the Tumbler did. Moreover, this official photo is very "in your face" and clearly made to look intimidating. Looking at it from the side, in the leaked photos, I think it cuts a very stylish profile. Not nearly as stylish as the '89 ride or the Arkham Asylum vehicle you mentioned earlier, but still.

For me, it comes down to one simple test: If you were an ordinary Gotham citizen who had never seen or heard of the Batmobile, and you saw this car zooming down the street, would you immediately know that it was Batman behind the wheel? For me, this car passes that test. Barely.

Here's an intriguing read about the Aquaman pic.

First Look At Lex Luthor
Image

quote from EW
Quote:
Lex Luthor. “He’s not any of the Lexes that you’ve seen, that’s for sure,” says Snyder, “other than him being a captain of industry and one person to the world and another person to himself. And bald, of course.” Eisenberg might not be the first person you’d think of to play the supervillain, but he did have experience portraying a morally challenged billionaire in The Social Network. And this edition of the follicularly challenged megalomaniac taps into a similar hyperintelligence mixed with malignant straight shooting.

“Our Lex is disarming and he’s not fake,” says Snyder. “He says what he believes and he says what’s on his mind. If you can unravel the string and decipher what he means, it’s all there.” Now excuse us while we try to unravel that string and decipher what Snyder is secretly trying to tell us.

Yup. That is definitely Jesse Eisenberg doing his best Lex Luthor impersonation. And with Snyder's usual presentation of po-faced seriousness without any color or energy whatsoever.

...Seriously, was the whole film shot in black and white? What is going on here?!

You say it as if you haven't been watching Snyder's work.

Okay, point.

Come to think of it, didn't Clay Enos do a whole book's worth of black-and-white shots for the characters of Watchmen? Maybe he's doing something similar here. It would explain a lot.

He did and it's exactly what I'm talking about.

No, I'm just saying that this is not how you make a good first impression when the whole world is watching.

Says Lex to Superman as he slides glossies of the Metropolis aftermath across a rather imposing desk.

Let's hope the world is not stupid enough to (blame it on Superman or) forget that there were an handful of kryptonians that not only caused that amount of destruction but threatened the whole planet as well.

So now we've got this.

And this.

And a better look here.

The costumes all look so much better than we had been led to believe. It's great to see some color (but not too much) in Wonder Woman's costume, and Batman's outfit looks so badass.
