Rats.

Got up and left during the credits. Which is unusual for me, as I sit them out, usually.

I was itching to go buy a skateboard. :? So I had ants in my pants.

Describe the scene, please. 8-)

RDJ walks into his home, says 'Jarvis'
Jarvis says 'Welcome back s-i-i-i-r' [as it breaks down or whatever]
RDJ = alarmed
Shadowy figure looking out of those gigantic windows/walls at far side
Shadowy figure: 'I...am Iron Man' (- imitating)
'You think you're the only superhero in the world? Mr Stark you've become part of a bigger universe...you just don't know it yet...'
RDJ: Who the hell are you?
Shadowy figure [now walking towards screen] 'Nick Fury...'
[Face now can be seen to be Samuel L Jackson with a frikkin eyepatch!]
'Director of SHIELD'
RDJ: 'huh'
SLJ: 'I'm her to tell you about the Avengers mission'
[Cut to black]

This one's still up:

If its not by the time you see it, search YT for something like 'Iron Man credits scene', cos plenty of people are uploading it...

Would have been even cooler for me had I not heard about it before. But, people were cheering when Jackson came out of the shadows and said "...Nick Fury".

If I hadn't heard about it before I probably wouldn't have stayed...

The scene is pretty geeky. There were many people in the cinema that (had they sat still) would have probably been scratching their heads after seeing Windu with an eyepatch.

I know the stories of Stark and Fury and I was still just kinda like ...huh? :?:
Every comic film has to crap the trilogy out of it.

The scene for me was so so

It's Avengers Initiative

i liked it, but i'll give it a 8.5. I'm saving the 10 to watchmen

it could be filled with more action terrorist-ass-kicking scenes

and i'm sure that indiana jones will blast it easily

Man, the scene should be played out this way:

RDJ/Tony Stark wrote:
Who the hell are you?

Samuel L. Jackson wrote:
Nick Fury Motherfucker...Director of motherfuckin' SHIELD

RDJ/Tony Stark wrote:
Huh?

Samuel L. Jackson wrote:
I'm here to tell you about the Avengers mission......motherfucker

Gotta imagine SLJ voice and his attitude when he says those lines :D

That was a great scene, AYB...

S. Jackson is awesome in this movie. Gwyneth Paltrow does an excellent ...Gwyneth Paltrow....very impressed with Downey's physique as now I can actually visualise him as the man inside the armoured suit....which I must say was the most exciting part of the character.....not a bad movie, better than I thought it would be and I want to see it again before it leaves the theaters....

I agree with Mere Being...."more action terrorist-ass-kicking scenes"....but I got my popcorn's worth.

Well I saw it at the weekend and loved every minute.

That last press conference when he utters those three words and then Black Sabbath kicks in for the credits.... WICKED AWESOME!

Was a bit worried about Gwyneth Paltrow after she was so turd in Sky Captain (yes i know it was pretty turd-like, but she was extra turd), but she really pulled it out for IronMan!

It was four words, actually. And I'm amazed they went that route.

So Iron Man is the #1 movie for the second weekend in a row. This makes me very happy.

Well deserved! Though it's also due to lucky timing. There are some huge titles up for release soon.

What am I supposed to be looking at?

You are competing with Ms Paltrow's legs here.

Ah, the shield. Did Rogers throw it through the window?
