Maybe I'm going out on a MASSIVE limb on this one...

...but is Dashiell Bad Horse supposed to be the representation of the actual killer of Cole and Williams ? I thought about this because of his violent, resentful behavior and because he has a red pick-up truck, like the one that Cole and Williams where (supposedly) chasing at the real Pine Ridge reservation.

EDIT: Ok, Dashiell just got more awesome, he likes Batman !

I'm not saying HE was the killer, we already know it was Gina, but, symbollicaly perhaps ? Cole and Williams (supposedly) were looking for a red pickup truck, which they never found, they only acquited Peltier of having one even though it was only a family van.

EDIT: Ooooooooooooook, so, I'm gonna have to back out on some stuff there

Yes siree :) !

Although I'm fucking confused, I thought it was established with the whole "why won't the blood come off" that catcher killed Gina.

He did, that's why gina's spirit animal helped Falls down escape.

You're telling me that shit is real  ? I thought the "animal totems" where just Catcher's drunken hallucinations.

And I thought Falls Down just said "fuck it" and ran out of the cave.....................and was extremely lucky !

If you remember though, Catcher couldn't see Gina's spirit animal in the cave, and yet it was there.

True, I was a little flabbergasted by that scene, but it was pretty good, hope everything turns out right for Falls Down.

And I don't know, but I don't believe Dashiell is going to take on Red Crow, he seems to have gone too far off the edge now, so Nitz, get ready to be fucked !

See, this is why I said Dashiell shouldn't have been on the 100 greatest heroes list. If it were just main characters, yes, but heroes? no he's far from that.

Gut feeling he's going to have a Michael Corleone moment and bring down both Nitz and Redcrow... and then take over as chief

Indeed, he's just too fucked up, awesome character, not so much hero.

And if he pulls the Michael Corleone, then the Prairie Rose Indian Reservation can kiss it's ass goodbye !

I think there has been to much build up to not have Red Crow Die, possibly have Nitz die and have Dashiell take over the rez. Just everything about dashiell's rise throught the ranks and his corruption makes me think the final panel of the last book will be him doing something Red Crow esque.

that or He'll die

Has Aaron said how long will Scalped last ? I wouldn't want Red Crow to die until the very end, he is too cool for him to get the axe half-way through the series, then again, seeing Dash as the main guy of the rez would be pretty damn awesome.

BY THE WAY...

...what did you thought of Carol's choice ?

To my knowledge, no

If red crow dies early either Shunka or Dash has to be made the new chief, if that guy who's going to challenge Lincoln in the next election (can't remember his name) gets put in I'd be kind of mad.

I think that at this point having her care for a baby would take too much away from time they could be furthering her character arc, so in terms of story telling I think that it was the proper choice.

It's not gonna happen, either Red Crow kills some key people before the election, or he just dies.

That wasn't what I was asking , but who knows, maybe there's something planned for her like there is for Dino, and a little Mini-Dash was getting in the way of it !

I know you were going after the fact that I'm pro-life... so I wasn't going to let you get a rise out of me.

This feels so good, actually getting to talk to someone who's rewad the series!

You do realize that I'm not after your throat every single time right ? Talk about paranoid  !

I was actually going to say that, although I can respect Carol's decision, I can't respect her silence, it was Dash's son too, and regardless of what we feel about the character, he still had a choice over the fate of his child, it wasn't her decision alone to make.

I'm quite surprised that no one here has read it, specially for a succesful VERTIGO series !

Then again there's also people out there in the world who haven't read "Y: The Last Man" *shudders*

Actually, that's pretty much my take on the matter.

See ? Nothing to fear ;) !

I can only hope Dashiell doesn't go "Red Crow" on her though ! IF he ever finds out :o !

By the way, is there a possibility that we might see Wade again ? Or did Nitz just fucked that too ? His story was really good !
