Thoughts on Action Comic #1: Nice introduction of a younger, cockier, Superman. Favorite line of dialogue: "We used to have laws. Like gravity. Remember that?"

Thoughts on the ending of Detective Comics #1: OH FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

seems like a pretty good time to get back into DC.

I listened to an album today.

I had to go to a shop to buy it, rather than download it from the internet.

I put it in my player, and listened to some songs.

Seems like a pretty good time to get back into CDs.

(Sorry, couldn't resist)

It's just an example of dry English wit. I think. I don't know.

It would make sense if I felt that DC's superheroes are outdated, and that no reboot would change that.

I never claimed to make sense.

I picked up Swamp Thing, Action Comics, and Detective Comics today. I probably won't read them until tomorrow, though.

True story.

I know you hate him and I regard your opinions concerning comic books highly, but the issue looked pretty awesome and I've never actually read anything by Tony Daniel so I decided to pick it up anyway.

It's definitely my favorite cover art of the three, so if nothing else, at least there's that.

I'm totally reading all of these salmon passages in Arnold Schwarzenegger's voice.

I read Action Comics #1 and I have Justice League International on the queue for tomorrow. I liked the tone of AC, but I felt the dialogue was off at a few times... but I've never been a super big fan of Morrison. I'll definitely carry on through the first arc, possibly more. I did really like how the characters were being introduced, and I liked some of the subtle nods to the golden age.

Yeah... that's what I got.

Kay, I read Animal Man, Action Comics, Swamp Thing, and Detective Comics. They were all pretty good, I'd recommend them.

Also, this is kind of interesting. http://dcboards.warnerbros.com/web/thre ... 0&tstart=0

I only noticed her when reading Swamp Thing and Action, though.

Nowhere, I just have to use my mom's computer because my laptop's screen got fucked to hell, in a few days I'll know if I'll have to pay a ton of money to get it fixed.

She also appeared in Flashpoint, but with so many things left unexplained in that series, I just passed her off as some brain-fart from Johns.
