One question about her # 1, is it true it's just 15 pages ?

No.

I didn't really think that what Tomasi did was anything THAT weird... I mean, he's done worse stuff in the previous continuity

Tomasi is a really weird writer, he is insanily creative, yet at the same time his writing is just Mary Elizabeth Winstead.

When did I say he did something weird?

I like him, but I don't love him.

Also, I've read:
Batman and Robin #1: 8.5/10
Demon Knights #1: 7.75/10
Green Lantern #1: 8/10
Red Lanterns #1: 8.25/10

You're post just made it seem like he went above and beyond to show Damian isn't like the other Robins, but I was just saying that I didn't think Damian had changed from previous BnR stuff.

Uhm, Godziller didn't say that at all.

No, just where he made a comment regarding Damian's "ways" I just took that as him saying that it was actually noteworthy and not just the staus quo concerning Damian. That's all, don't make something out of this.

So, I ended up reading this:

Image

It was pretty cool, though it was a little flawed, it's not a "new reader-friendly" book, yet it's not necessary to read the previous series, something which I didn't have to do to understand what's happening in this book, also it was paced very slowly, not exactly a "Tear down the house" entrance for this character either; To make things more simple, the book starts and moves on as if it was issue # 17 of the series, it makes very little effort to introduce the main character or even explain more clearly what he does and how he does it.

Still, it was quite fun, the art was really great, a mix of Vertigo horror with Noir and a little superhero action, for what it's worth this is a title that has a fantastic idea, if it gets cancelled (worst case scenario) then it should at least go to capable hands at Vertigo, it's one of the cool new little things that only the new 52 could've brought and I really would like to see more about this character in the future.

... okay.

And no I don't plan on reading Resurrection Man, I am not really familiar with the character, so tell me if it's worth reading.

Well, if one good thing came of the mess of the Mighty Morphing Power Rangers, it was this title.

I can see why for nothing Peter Milligan is a sensation, the man apparently is writing an incredible Hellblazer run, and was praised by Axel Alonso as one of the best writers in comics right now, I really liked this issue, the writing, the dialog, the tone of the book, the great pencilling by Benes, everything was just really really great !

I wasn't planning on really getting into any of the new Green Lantern stuff, but the Red Lanterns having their own series did strike me as interesting so maybe I'll check it out.

I fully recommend it, the narration by Atrocitus is just absolutely beautiful.

Yes, I just said "Atrocitus" and "Beautiful" in the same sentence, so get an idea of just how good it was.

I don't think praise is worth anything when it comes from the mouth of the former x-book editor who said his main two goals were "giving Cable his own book and depicting mystique as naked" during his stint.

Oddly enough, the Hawk and Dove one looks exactly the same.

Don't shoot the messenger :o !

I was just really glad to see a shitty concept being elevated to greatness.

EDIT:

Also read this baby just yesterday:

Pretty good also, it was strange since it was directly dealing with a character who I can only suspect was Superman (he was shadowed the entire issue), but everything was just crazy insane in this issue, tons of explosions, tons of Call Of Duty action, plenty of badassery.

Though this is one of those things that may get cancelled in the future, who knows.

Glad you liked it, but I didn't think it was that amazing.

It was good, though.
