It is cool in cover, and who knows maybe it will be better than you expect? Or it could be like Bendis's Moon Knight which was worse that I feared...

I'm not helping am I?

Well, nothing indicates that it has to be bad, but it's very difficult, Hellblazer's "thing" was the socially aware commentary mixed with the supernatural threats, Constantine has always been very aware of the times in which his stories' happen, so if you put this on a floating timeline, then it's a whole different beast.

A very very very tamed beast I might say.

Eh, Look at the GA/GL stuff from O'neil, that was in the "floating timeline" and remains one of the most socially conscious runs of all time.

I might jump on here just because I don't know a lot about Constantine and I want a jump on point.

I'm going to be very disappointed if no one cosplays this.

Well, snap. That's really awesome.

It'd be cool to see one with a mechanic's outfit, though.

I am like 85% sure Snyder or Capullo tweeted a picture with a mechanic Joker from some con not that long ago.

Was GA/GL before Crisis On Infinite Earths ? I don't think they were running with a floating timeline in that era.

Even then, I'm unsure about wether GA/GL talked the problems with dates, names and places; as Hellblazer often did, hell, I remember about the cadre of Thatcher-supporting demons Constantine went up against.

J.M. DeMatteis is going to take over scripting the Phantom Stranger Monthly nest month.

My reaction can be found here.

It's more likely than not Alfred's face/head.

See, that was my immediate guess as well, but Two-Face and Penguin's reactions in the back-up story don't sync up with that idea, nor does it mesh with what Joker says immediately before showing them.

I've got no clue, which is one reason I'm really anticipating Batman 17.

Maybe it's a part of Joe Chill and the Joker is going to make some speech about how the death of Thomas and Martha was what made him batman so he needs to lose his current "family".
