I sat down and read 'Out from boneville' in one sitting. I can't remember the last time I had this much fun with a comic book, and I have read a decent number of comic books

You haven't seen NOTHING yet, the best is yet to come !

And don't forget to check back on the Bone thread, if t3cii and Curi are to be believed, we may be getting a movie in the future !

I was just under the impression that you had a severe dislike for silver age batman comics

He also thinks/thought I hate 80s marvel comics.

Update on Bone, I'm now halfway through Book #4.

Update to my Update: I'm not most of the way through Book #5. I find myself not wanting to put this book down, it's so great in so many ways. I think it's safe to say Jeff Msith is one of the most under rated writers of all time (and I know he has won a ton of awards for Bone... but he should have won more)

I actually have the purple edition, I've been meaning to read it for awhile and I'll probably get to it pretty soon.

When I used to buy the books, I'd force myself to take it slow, otherwise I'd be finished the book in an hour.

it's good so far, I've never read a Vonnegut book before, but I love the slightly comical tone, I'll have to read some more.

If you do get around to reading some other stuff of his, I definitely recommend Slaughterhouse-Five and Cat's Cradle.

I finished Batman:Cacophony. It was good up until the final chat with the Joker... which was amazing. I also loved all the little nods to past Batstories, such as Matches Malone and Batmite.

Now read Widening Gyre, it's far better, and has way more awesome throwbacks and less homo-eroticism

I'm glad I finally got around to reading this, it was pretty amazing. Just when you think things are winding down, some new crazy twist is thrown at you.
