One of the most awesome things I've ever read.

I can understand how reading it as it was coming out would have been a living hell, though. But with everything I know about comics and the DC Universe at this point and being able to read the story in its complete form (with Superman Beyond included), it all tied together perfectly and was an absolute blast to read.

There's deffinitely something about this story that makes you pause for a moment thinking about what you just read, even if it was a very strange read.

I still don't like the narrative, I think it's inefficient for a comic book, you need to be named Grant Morrison to perfectly understand everything

However, some scenes, like Anthro and Metron, or Superman holding "Batman's" body, are pure brilliance.

As far as Grant Morrison comics go, I really don't think it was very confusing. There was some pretty crazy stuff just casually thrown out there, but I've just learned to roll with that by now.

Didn't you feel like there were some gaps in the story ? Maybe I missed it when I first read it, but I don't remember anywhere in that comic where Darkseid said he was going to clone Batman, and neither did we know of the fate of the Batman clones, we just see Batman stumbling around into (admittedly) an incredibly awesome scene with Batman facing Darkseid and saying "Gotcha".

DAT "gotcha" !

Or the entire Superman Beyond arc for that matter, that shit was important !

I admit that's a gap, but not to me, since I'd already read the two Batman Final Crisis issues where they're trying to probe Batman's mind in that machine. But then the clones all die due to not being able to withstand the trauma Batman's faced in his life. Which is kind of awesome.

They reference the cloning failing in Final Crisis itself, but only for one panel.

Yeah, it was. But since it's in the trade, I'm counting it as part of the series.

It's ridiculously awesome, but I kinda wanted to know about that in the damn comic.

Imagine just NOT reading it, Imagine just seeing Superman randomly appear with Brainiac V explaining whatever the hell he was explaining.

That's what happened to me :| !

Yeah, that'd suck. This is why a lot of Grant Morrison's stuff should be released straight to trade.

Pretty cool/creepy. You can definitely see shades of Simon Hurt in Mr. Whisper.

I've been working my way through Hickman's Fantastic Four run and I have to say this has potential to become one of my new favorite runs of all time.

I was sort of let down on this one, considering it's Grant Morrison. Some imagery and spookiness, but Mr. Whisper wasn't even that interesting of a villain. Just sort of your typical psychopathic madman, without any distinction. Maybe I'll re-read it and enjoy it on my second go.

It's certainly nowhere near as great as some of his other works, but I just took it for what it was as a cool little Batman tale.

Ziller, the correct response is "You obviously just didn't understand it" Shame on you for being tolerant of opinions that differ from your own! SHAME!!!

This is a pretty interesting series so far.

To sum it up: in the near future, space travel is now a much more common thing, between Earth, the Moon and Mars. However, with the joys of space travel also come the dangers of space travel. This story follows a cleaning crew that picks up "space debris" (essentially they are interstellar garbagemen), and follows their little individual tales and what not. Pretty neat so far, and seems to be getting better. There's also an anime of it, so I'll have to watch that after I finish reading it.

Yeah, I never actually let anger out. You know me, I never react or respond to ANYTHING that anybody says or does if it makes me mad. My nickname on the boards is the bottle, because I always bottle up my emotions...

We can... doesn't mean I'm not going to joke about it.

Just because I bring it up, that doesn't mean it offends me or I'm still mad... just poking fun

There's so much sexual tension in here.

Maybe because I'm not the only "paranoid" one?
