I know there are several BKV fans on this forum, and his return to comics came out yesterday in the form of Saga #1. It's kind of a amalgamaton of Star Wars, DnD, and Romeo and Juliet... so it's weird, but amazing. Fiona Staples is a very good artist and i have high hopes for the rest of this series.

First comic wasn't all good but I don't make judgements until issue 3. Comic books aren't made to be evaluated on by single issues. Glad to see Brian K Vaughn is back in the game! I'm excited, to say the least. Anybody else looking forward to the letters column?

Saga 1 was mostly good. Saga 2 is really good. A spell that requires a secret to activate is a good concept. And the drawing and design of The Stalk proves Fiona Staples is the absolute best choice for artist. The main characters faced off against a freelancer and managed to live! What action! I liked it! And that standoff scene with the baby was pretty cool as well.

I'll be reading this as well, don't know how I'll do reading monthly BKV, but it can't be that bad, in fact, I think I would've preferred reading Ex-Machina as a monthly.

Got my letter posted in the column. Fame and fortune, here I come! I really loved that survey BKV wrote for issue 2. Especially the Hulk vs Rorschach question. I really liked Hazel's monologue about babysitters. Easily my favorite part of issue 3.

Human-pyramid-of-naked-men-wearing-Janissary-hats-being-whipped-from-behind-by-a-mousey-dominatrix from issue #4 is my favorite character. But is the character fanfiction worthy? The answer is yes. You're welcome internet.

Another amazing issue. Vaughn and Staples are just blowing the other books out of the water, I'm more okay with Scalped going knowing that Saga will be filling my void of all time great comics.
