We have a lot of problems with bots here, so we're often wary of new members especially ones that make kind of vague threads like this one, without much if any introduction, don't worry though, we're just a paranoid bunch, you are clearly real though, welcome to the forum.

Moore's League of Extraordinary Gentlemen books are good dark comics, if you've seen the movie and assume it is faithful to the comics, don't because it is only superficially similar.

To be honest anything my Moore is guaranteed to be pretty dark, and as smutty says, anything by Garth Ennis. also anything my Mark Millar, or Warren Ellis or Frank Miller or Grant Morrison is bound to have some dark themes in it, certainly darker than the mainstream.
