I made one exactly like that as well (cutting holes in the white ones didn't work out, so I "borrowed" the marker design idea...)

Breathing is not an issue, the only problem I had was slight discomfort to my nose. But that's it.

Vision's not bad. It's not great, but it's not like you're completely blind. If you're going somewhere, be sure to be with other people for "insurance" purposes (if you have a girlfriend or something to hold hands with, that's probably better.)

Hope that helps.

I have two, and I'm not particularly satisfied with either one of them. Oh, and don't mind the clothes, it was just a mask test so I'm not wearing the right clothes.

Not bad at all, but I would get at least one black nylon under there to make your face less visible (photo 1).

Love that you put the "pretty butterfly" design on the second. :)

First one's a dead link.
Second, I'd go with the "Brown" one.
Third looks good.

If I had to choose one, I'd say the third one, probably because of the price difference. The only detractor to that one is that it's the official Indy hat, so I don't know how that will sit with you as there'll probably be indicators that it is such. So maybe the second one is worth the extra dough.

That probably didn't help very much, but I hope it helped narrow it down a little for you.

there i just fixed the first link.

kind of leaning towards the first one, because the third one doesn't seem like the right size. the bill looks to big and such.

also, the second one doesn't seem like the right shape. and yes, i meant the brown one.

The second link has the best hat, in brown. The other links you included, I think you've mixed those hats, which are fedoras, with the trilby which are in the second link. If the hats brim is wide, it's a fedora. If it's not wide, it's a trilby, which is what Rorschach wears. Also, you could surely find the same style of hat at a local department store. I've seen ones for around $35. Check around before you decide.

the pictures make the brims look really big, but if you look at the description they are only 2 1/2 inches. i think that the second one is good, but im afraid its not exactly the right shape, and that the brim might even be too small. but i think my favorite is the one from lids that i posted above in a separate link
