Arrrrrg just spent all evening painting patinas. India ink refuses to scrub off of my fingernails. I blame all of you. Srsly though doing the final clear coat tonight, won't be able to final assemble it until 24 hours later to ensure ttly dryness. I'm praying I can get it all together tomorrow, I'm dying to play with it and show it off, it's so gorgeous.

fukkin.. ink stains.... fffff.

Just finished final assembly and while it's too late to do a proper photo shoot tonight, I figured a couple test shots would tide you guys over until tomorrow. I'm excited to get some fresh videos made in better light of the springing blades and of it shooting. We've worked out some kinks since October and for a prop it's running great.

I'll be ready to take pre-orders tomorrow once everything is set. I'll post order info then. Okay, time to pass out. Peace.

More pictures and video are there.

Pricing:

After that, $800 each. You can add in a custom-cut foam-lined, aluminum hard-shell Carry Case for an additional $95.00

Have at it, I'm unemployed and ready to sit and work for you! Do any of you know any other good places to spread word about these things? Any help is fantastic. I'm proud of my baby, I can't wait to make it a litter of offspring to spread joy and terror across the globe.

Bwahaha I'll respond to the email asap- Ooooh this forum looks awesome and totally in my interests, but it seems they only allow registration certain times of year! :C If anyone is already a member and would like to help me out with a post that would be great! (i'll even format/compose the post for you if you'd like!) Otherwise I'll have to wait until they open registration again in April.) Spread the word! The sooner I get my start-up pre-orders the sooner I can go into production. :)

I can post for you on there if you do up the post.

They have a really good Rorschach thread on there too, which is where I got most of the info for my costume, plus a really friendly community for getting feedback on stuff and answering questions.

Aww thanks so much! I'll send you a private message with a formated post for you. (I assume it has the same coding rules as this?) It sounds like a great community, and I'd love to hop in immediately but alas! I'll have to wait until the end of April. :C

As much as I'd love one of your coats (And still hope to eventually commission one from you possibly before Halloween '10!) My student loans and car insurance demand I be frugal D: There's still the majorly discounted pre-orders to get started left though.

Fair enough Madame. I'm in the same boat. as much as I'd love to comission an $800 tool of ultimate amazingness, it's a little outta the budget as of late. but if you're still in the market for my stuff, I'll throw in a mask too :)

If you pre-order soon, they're still just $650 until I fill all my getting-started-slots. >o> There's people on the wings but nothing's been confirmed yet.

I'm wondering how much I can trim with process to bring the price down still, I've already made some mental notes while experimenting with my prototype for how to tighten up the run.

Massive playing with it in the yard today, I had a lot of neighbors and passerby wondering wtf probably. XD

Oh, I'm definitely in, I just have to budget some money. I'm trying to afford some other junk for my costume too, so it's like.. "Decisions."

Plus, you know.. food. And bills. Being an adult is swiftly not becoming fun.

Haha it's cool. XD I know exactly how that is. I can wait to collect until I have three definite buyers lined up but I can't start until I do so! Not enough funds to buy the materials I'd need to rock it. :C

(Have to do some rearranging with my paypal anyway it buys me some time to sort that out. X) )
