Does anyone have any idea what kind of market there is out
there for Watchmen wristwatches? Picked up one in a
comic shop back in '87.

There's one on eBay now for $279. That seems pretty high to me since its not in its original packaging. I doubt there is much of a demand for an item like that since most hardcore fans of the graphic novel think they are pretty cheesy. If you're looking for top dollar, I'd wait until the movie comes out in 2009, then throw it on eBay.

That's a smart way to go about the watch.

There's some great concepts for watchmen watches which was printed on a shirt at the "gunga diner" section. Hope it can be materialised. Each watch embodies the characters themselves. kinda cool.
