LOL fantastic! I'm stealing some of those for ref. too.

What fabric are his trunks made out of? I thought I could make them from spandex, but now I see it's not that at all
It looks like leather to me. Particularly in the "Film Companion". My scanner kinda ruined the quality.

Hmm... Well luckily I have some yellow leatherette bookmarked on ebay.. I'll have to get that. But not yet, I've already spent quite a bit on materials for this so far, it's time to stop for a while

[NOTE: Merged here. --"Curiosity Inc."]

I am hosting a costume party this October,
Guess who I am going as? Duh… Nite Owl!
However the costume available online SUCKS! So where would I begin if I wanted to make a Nite Owl costume (from the movie) that looks as realistic as possible? What materials should I use?

Do you mean Nite Owl I or II?
I'm making NOI :)
NOII could be quite tricky...I mean I'd go for a brown leatherette or latex or something, maybe draw on the markings with acrylic and a thin brush.
You could buy a bodysuit and use it as a pattern? Search for Zentai suits on Ebay, although those are quite expensive.

Or if you have the money, buy the crappy NOII costume to use as a base for certain parts. Just remake parts of it?

Good luck with it^^

Just thought I'd share the wig I just bought for my Adrian cosplay. With a little cutting and re-styling it should be good:)

The only tricky part for this will be making that purple suit jacket, gotta remember to stick some shoulder pads in there for 80's goodness haha.

[NOTE: Merged. --"Curiosity Inc."]

I hope this isn't too random to post here...

I just got all the pictures from my photoshoot with Chris Allbritton in downtown Orlando. I love the way they came out and thought I'd share.

HERE is the link to them all. (ignore the first. Someone wanted to see my nails)

Question. Where did you get that domino mask? Did you make it out of a batman one or something?
Also, try using Rigid Colodion for the scar. (you may have heard that before)

Awesome work btw

Your costume is lovely, LadyS.

Carl: Great work as always. Try getting a grenade launcher to pose with next time.

I see some good cosplays in here.

I wouldn't have very many options if I wanted to cosplay though. XD There aren't many female characters in Watchmen. Although I guess a girl could cosplay Rorschach since he wears that mask and all that....people might not be able to tell that I'm a girl. LOL.

It's been done before. Just ask DogWithHeadSplitOpen (if you can find her).

I'm so drawn between cosplaying Walter and cosplaying Rorschach. |: I'm a girl, it'll be easier to hide that fact if I cosplay Rorschach but that would involve sewing up my own custom pants and suchlike because I'd want to get the right fabric and do it as close to the book version as possible... where as Walter I could just hit up thrift shops and hope for the best. ):< Hurm. Found a great wig I could use though... I have time until Halloween at least. Don't think I'll get it done for Comic Con.
