Exactly. I see lots (of shitty ones) and just roll my eyes and move on.
But this was pretty competant.

Agreed. The first thought that ran into my head was "she's not that pretty." It's probably the expression on her face, though.

No, not even close.

She's attractive, she just has the weird smile going on. It's very reminiscent of Jack Nicholson's Joker and I doubt she's like that all the time.

in my defence, I don't rate Malin Ackerman particularly highly.

She's not topping any of my top ten lists at all, but she's a very pretty lady.

Hello all!

New here, just found you guys whilst looking for any ideas to do with making a NOII cowl, I have to make one for my boyfriend and I'm having a wee bit of trouble! ^^

However, the main thing I was looking for was if anyone had used leatherette for a Silk Spectre II costume, I didn't fancy using PVC and squeaking all night so for the black sections I've been wondering about using leatherette.. any suggestions? :)

sorry to let you down, but I don't think any of the remaining forum members are even slightly expert in that sort of thing, go with your gut instinct, that's normally a good policy, and if it goes wrong it's just a learning experience. good luck though!
