Simple as the thread title, what edition of the book (not the add ons) and the movie are you going to get. In the movie case, which ones did you pre-order?

For the book I have the regular edition, original chapter 4, 9, and 12, and the absolute edition.
For the movie I pre-ordered the owlship Blu-Ray and the BB exclusive for the DC.

I have the TPB, the hardcover, the Absolute Edition and an Issue #1 reprint signed by Dave Gibbons.

I also have "Watching the Watchmen" and "Philosophy and Watchmen."

I have the TotBF DVD (thoroughly enjoyed), the Motion Comics DVD (still unopened), and the Motion Picture soundtrack.

I'll definitely be getting the December edition and I'll probably get the Director's Cut this July, if only so I can spend my birthday money on something nice. I doubt I'll bother with the theatrical cut.

I have the Absolute Edition, the recent hardcover edition and the paperback (which isn't in very good shape, anymore).

Other Watchmen books:

Watching the Watchmen
Art of the Film
Film Companion
Portrait Book
Watchmen and Philosophy

I'll buy the DC on dvd.

I want the director's edition for the DVD. As far as the book, I don't own the GN, I own the original 12 comics. I got them from a friend's dad for (I think) about 10 dollars in 1994 after he recommended the story to me. That's probably all the Watchmen I have want or need for. I might, if I am up for a lark that day, get the film companion, as I've read it in Barnes & Noble and it seems pretty neat. Other than that, the comics and the DC would keep me content.

I have the regular trade paperback and Absolute Edition.

In terms of the movie, I plan to buy the director's cut on Blu-Ray and the Ultimate Edition or whatever they're calling it.

[NOTE: Merged and retitled. --"Curiosity Inc."]

Has anyone here been collecting the Watchmen merchandise (action figures, busts, prop replicas, books, etc.)? Because I'd love to see some pictures, as I assume everyone else would. :P

That's a pretty impressive collection! I already bought my copy of the DC, but I think it'd be worth it to buy another one for a Rorschach mask. I'm looking forward to purchasing posters so I can frame them, as well.

I went to a mall today and saw LOTS of merchandise, including posters, books related to the film (I bought the film companion, which is just fucking amazing), keychains, buttons, lunch boxes, wallets, coffee mugs and all the action figures except Manhattan's. I'll eventually start buying more stuff, but it sure was great seeing all this.

I just took advantage of a "buy one get one free" poster deal and picked up the Silk Spectre poster and the Rorschach alley poster. Both are framed and hanging in my bedroom.
