I HAVE A COPY OF THE MOTION COMIC SIGNED BY DAVE GIBBONS.

It arrived totally unexpectedly in the mail yesterday, in a package from a friend in the Netherlands who also included FIVE Tanz der Vampire DVDs and some autographed promotional materials from the Oberhausen production of the musical.

[NOTE: Merged. --"Curiosity Inc."]

Okay, the movie has come and gone, the first DVD and Blu-rays are out so why don't we turn our attention to WATCHMEN merchandise while we wait for the December Ultimate Cut.

So, who has got what?

Me I bought the portraits, art of and companion books. Also the Gibbons book.

I've got a Rumrunner T-shirt as well as a Gunga Diner shirt and smiley face shirt from SDCC last year.

I also picked up all of the action figures (all 3 Rorschachs) except for the limited Dr. Manhattan variant and I didn't bother with the bigger ones.

Just picked up a doomsday clock (half-price at Blockbuster). They've also got coasters and a couple of the journals also half-price.

I've also got the soundtrack and score CDs.

And the Mad magazine spoof both the regular edition and the one from SDCC.

And the owl ship DVD as well.

Anyone else?

I always laugh at the Doomsday Clock clock^. It's so useless if you actually want to tell time.

Here it's easy to tell but it won't be later.

I'd be able to use it. TBH, you don't really need ANY markings on a clock, except maybe the 12.

since i'm a relatively new fan, i only got DCD Rorschach standard and unmasked variant figure.
I also have Watchmen and Philosophy paperback which i got it from my friend that goes to US for some sort of summer college...
and for my surprise, knowing that i have a thing for Watchmen, my friends had brought me Watchmen music from motion picture cd for my birthday... when i got it, it gives me chill and awe, cause i never knew that it has been released in my country where Watchmen doesn't have a lot attention... (even now, they haven't released any Cut for god's sake!!!!)

But here's hoping for some justice in many country that suffers this kind of thing... Don't lose hope, even though i know Watchmen DC had been released just for R1...

I have a Watchmen poster, but it either has a misprint or an early edition but it looks like this:

http://silenceinarchitecture.files.word ... poster.jpg

Only instead of saying WARNER BROS. PICTURES AND PARAMOUNT PICTURES, it says

PARAMOUNT PICTURES AND WARNER BROS. PICTURES

Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but since this isn't a teaser poster wouldn't this have likely been made later on when Warner Bros. was slated as the primary producer, and Paramount as the secondary?

Does this mean it'll be worth anything? :D

If yours is from outside the US, that would make sense, since Paramount had the international distribution rights.

well, there was that fiasco near the beginning of production where they were arguing over the rights to the film, so it could just be a first run

no it's not that significant. not something like with return of the jedi, being changed from revenge to return the week before release.
