So I was looking through the net for an RP site dedicated to freeform RP based on the Watchmen world.

I know. Hear me out.

Failing to find one, a friend and I created our own.

It's set immediately after the events of the novel.

I know. Stay with me.

Basically a sort of creative experiment/geeky fanservice for all the questions raised by the novel and such. I was looking to create an adult, thinking "superhero" world that had the tone of the GN (and movie) in which players took up the mantle of a mask as a direct or indirect result of the revelations in that alternative New York. All characters have their reasons for their persona, ranging from the mildly unhinged (Masked Vigilantes like Rorshach and Night Owl) to swinging door unhinged (State Sponsored like the Comedian, or Costumed Villains like Moloch).

The site's very new, and we would very much welcome input on expanding the site (and storyline, though as its freeform, all characters help shape it IC'ly) and would welcome even more people who want to create their own character and RP with us.

I know, geeky. No excuse.

So come, give advice, or better yet, create an original character and get involved. We need more thinking active people!

The "Watchmen" reference? I know they were never strictly called that, it's a point of reference for the player, not the IC character. I can change it if it's really jarring...?

If it's a biggie, post it up in GD. As I say, all tips/constructive critiques can go there, or be PM'd to me, being as you've got an account now.

i don't really mind personally, but since you are going with book canon, so as to differentiate with movie canon, saying crimebusters would make more sense.
i meant no offense, i was just stretching my observation skills. and being half asleep is a totally valid excuse.
