Maybe Rorschach was correct about humanity in some instances.

You're referring to the Kitty Genovese case. I read about that in Psych last semester, as a matter of fact.

Granted, I'm no psychiatrist, but I'd guess that nobody had any idea of what to do. They were just waiting for someone to take charge of the situation and tell everyone how to react. Unfortunately, no one did because they were all passing that responsibility on to everyone else.

It's the exact same thing that happened with Genovese. You'd be amazed how often it happens.

Didn't Rorschach actual mention Kitty Genovese, I know it was in Boondock Saints, but I was pretty sure Rorschach mentioned it aswell

Yes, he did. VI.10.6.

Waylayer was comparing the recent Hartford incident to Genovese's murder and the similarities are uncanny.

I can definitely appreciate the fact that both the Boondock Saints and Watchmen both referenced the same event for character developement. Also awesome is the fact that you have two totally separate works of fiction referencing the same non-fiction event.

Nice.

Yeah, I know what you mean

It's funny that both Rorschach and The Saints know of the Genovese and then they both become vigilantes trying to punish evil... hurm...
