Alan Moore must be happy!

The truth is that I have lost all interest in superhero genre, with an expectation of surpassing Watchmen by their complexity, social commentary and philosophical depth. True there might be great works to go back for, but I don't feel I can find anything new.

Perhaps that's why its called: genre deconstruction.

I feel I should move to more serious medium such as literature but what for? I like the way superhero comics pushing things to their logical extreme.

I think that sometimes it becomes possible to become ‘overexposed’ to a particular genre. I have found that I am doing much of the same thing. I did wonder why Watchmen was able to stimulate us in such a way though, perhaps because unlike many of the comic book endeavors, it is actually complex?

Oh, Watchmen is undeniably complex. A huge part of that is how it was able to blend so many genres to make such a wide variety of artistic statements. It truly is one-of-a-kind.

Welcome aboard.
