I had one DC Direct's Rorschach action figure which I propped it up in my bedroom alongside with my Terminator, Transformers and Predator action figures.

DC Direct aside, I was hoping that NECA could get license to make 6 inch Rorschach action figures, like Hot Toys does (with it's 12 inch figures).

NECA makes good figures, but I'm satisfied with DC Direct's job - actually, I was very impressed with them, sculpt and paint wise.

NECA also doesn't do much articulation, so I think the end result of NECA making the figures would have been very similar to DC Direct's work.

Of course, Hot Toys trumps all in the figure making department, as far as I'm concerned. I hope every day to hear more Watchmen figures announced by them.

Well, I felt that NECA's action figures can stand quite well and have very good points of articulation on some parts. I'm quite disappointed that DC Direct's Rorschach action figure is a bit, how should I put it, "tilted" and his head were bent to the side. Nevertheless, it's actually authentic and I wanted to buy the unmasked version (with good details of Mr. Haley's features, from the images I've seen), hope it's not too late for that.

The unmasked Rorschach is pretty awesome - I have both the TRU beat up version and the other version . I bought the first at TRU back in April, I think.....

Hunh, lucky you. I heard that many of the unmasked Rorschach action figures had been sold out and I sure hope my search for one isn't futile. And actually I wasn't intending on buying just one, but three of them, the spare ones which I can use for the creation of my own custom Rorschach action figure, with my very own cloth-made Rorschach inkblot mask, fit for the head.

Just bought the Nite Owl (Modern) action figure. It looks great, specially the detail. I just didn't bought Rorschach because of the limited poses.

Dr. Volt Comics here in Salt Lake City has the classic Nite Owl and Dr. Manhattan (both Series 2) for $5.00 each.
I'm not a Action figure guy but for 5 bucks I figured what the hell. I went there to pick up a copy of Absolute Watchmen and ended up dropping 2 bills for stuff.
And thus ends my virgin newb post.

As I was getting out of bed this morning, I glanced at the figures on the top of my bookshelf and thought, damn, the detail is great! Where they are they're kind of like 3D posters in one corner of my room. Love em.

I still only have Nite Owl, Rorschach and Silk Spectre.
Meanwhile I've gotten other awesome figures...
Blade, Terminator (T2), Neo, The Predator, Issac Clarke, The Punisher (tom jane), and this 12in badass Spawn with tons of guns.
Also I think I have every principal character from the original Star Wars trilogy.
Luke, Han, Leia, Vader, Obi Wan, Chewbacca, R2-D2, C3-PO, Lando, Boba Fett, Stormtroopers, and a few other supporting characters.
Jabba the Hutt is really fricken hard to get.
This little kid who i babysat almost gave me his, but his dad nearly shat bricks.
So yeah.

Also, Blade's glasses looked nothing like the amazon picture and they were uber lame.
So i bought the Cyclops/Jean Grey movie two pack from 2000 and used scott's glasses (which were awesome)
on blade.
Tinted the red lenses much darker and omfg it looks awesome.
