How did you manage to isolate the dialogue and sound effects?

well half of it was from a link here http://www.megaupload.com/?d=3D4C2LN6 that includes stuff from the original trailer with the music volume turned down a lot and the other half is from my personal collection of Sound effects

Nice one, thanks! I noticed the file description says Watchmen Contest Pack? Is some site holding a competition?

Dog Carcass, photobucket allow videos and there are several user video sites like youtube which don't care whether your stuff is an infringement of copyright or not...there's always an alternative...

Btw I'm uploading my third and most successful one as we speak. It's the same length as my Radiohead one - just over a minute.

Not sure if that will work... but the trailer is over on the right... just hit preview and the audio is still there.

It's not available yet. You need to wait for it to finished processing, but it looks like it'll work this time!
Looking forward to it!

Hmmm ... what did it say when you clicked on it? It's still telling me that I need to change the music because the owner of Billie Holiday's "You're My Thrill" says that I'm infringing his copyright.... groan. I don't have a photobucket account... know any other free video hosting places? I thought that when I posted my Watchmen "add in dialogue" picture that I didn't need an account at this one site... I followed the link and it said "welcome, watchmenmovie.com user!"

Any idea which place this could have been?

It's Imageshack.us, but they don't host videos.

Hmm I think I'll pass....thanks though...

My new one is less a trailer and more a TV spot...the kind the would appeal to young adults. Sorry if it's too "kool" for some of you lot!

Yeah, I learned a long time ago to pass up sites that end with .TK

AYB, I loved the transition in the beginning.

I visited that Cortex site. It's funny how their community is so small... yet their fan trailers pwn ours.

Exactly the reason I thought better of entering....I had about a dozen .tk sites before I was 13!!

Fuuuuuck...now THAT's how you edit a trailer!

The Rorschach/Comedian transition was inspired & the silence at the end was pretty breathtaking.
Hey WB, hire this guy!

MM08, music suggestion: Beethoven - Symphony No. 7, Op. 92 Allegretto; Try it out!

Last time I spent too much time on a .TK site, I had to get a new computer, that's why I say that.

Is there link to download the trailers in a format that Windows Movie Maker supports?

Yes, IGN, ComingSoon.net, and I believe even the movie's official site all have the trailer in .AVI format, which is editable in Windows Movie Maker.

Here is the downloadable wmv format for the trailer, http://www.comingsoon.net/films.php?id=21117

It is in WMV format, but since it is a Windows format, I'm positive it will work for Windows Movie Maker.
