Says what line? If you mean him saying "Doctor Manhattan," he says it at the exact same time he does in the TC. It was unchanged.

The line isn't late, it just comes at a later time because of the added in "possibly homosexual" line. Everything else is fine.

I just checked. He says "Doctor Manhattan" at the exact same time he does in the TC. Doc says "Good evening Rorschach," and then as the camera pans up, Rorschach says "Doctor Manattahn." No change here.

After comparing the two versions, I think the theatrical cut of the owlship sex scene was better than the director's cut. The timing of the music feels more ironic and absurd in the TC.

There's also a sloppy edit in the DC where they cut to later in the song. It's really obvious.
