The UK movie press kit comes with everything a fan would want except Alan Moore’s blessing

I remember seeing one of these on eBay in January. I was going to bid, but it was already well into the $200 range.

Thanks for the pictures, DDC. The ones I saw on that eBay item were horrible. It's great to finally get a good look at it all. Gorgeous. And it's much bigger than I thought.

I really, really wish that those reproductions of the comic covers were released online. Would you mind snapping a picture of issue 12's reproduction? It's almost a "What If" picture -- a glance at what an alien ending would have looked like.

God, you're lucky.

If you can all wait a few days, I'll scan the covers and all of the text based items and get them up here for all to see.

Good fucking God, boss. Nice going.

Better you than me, because if that thing arrived on my doorstep, I'd never bring myself to look at it for fear of melting my face off. That sucker would be my own personal Ark of the Covenant.

My reaction if I had gotten such a package.

Lucky bum, DDC.

Was just going to ask that. Those cover recreations have to be one of the coolest promotional items for this movie. If they're half as good as the poster recreations I might lose my mind. I can't wait to see them.

Hurm...the Rorschach Keene evidence mentions a certain Kitty Genovise...

I also wonder if "handle with extreme prejudice" means "shoot to kill".

Anyway, I want that just for all the goodies.

My head just exploded...

Just like this:

Police Officer: What's the situation?

Detective: Guy saw an amazingly awesome Watchmen movie promotional item. He just couldn't take it.

Police Officer: The poor bastard never had a chance.

There were other things in that box too...

- The two-faced Nite Owl watch
- Rorschach hoodie in the smiley box
- UK Blu-ray
- Doomsday Clock t-shirt

I got one of these off eBay earlier this year, number 0053 of 1000. It looks better than you think from these pictures. I made side by side comparisons of the issues and these folders.
I didnt get anything else with mine, hoodie, dvd, etc... but Im still looking for them.
I do have the flip-top watch though, its awesome. Have you got the glasses? Im been scouring the internet since I 1st saw them, and still nothing.

Technically, it's free. It was only sent to 1,000 members of the press in the UK.

Wowsers! That's the most amazing piece of WATCHMEN merchandise I've ever seen! & the Bloody Smiley! The most key element in the story that's not easy to find! I'm still in shock. Will pass out from amazement.
