Hello all. Been into comics since the 70's. Dropped out in the late 80's and picked it up again in the early 90's to drop it again when Valiant/Acclaim fell apart around 2000 as did all the other companies.

Watched the Watchmen movie about 30 times and have half of it memorized. Recently watched the motion comic that came with the Ultimate Collection and am in the process of picking up the TPB online to read it again after 25 years.

Love the movie. Love the motion comic even more but you have to get into both to get a larger context, will get a greater grasp when I read the TPB.

Rorcharsh is my favorite character although I usually go with the most powerful guy- in this case, Rorcharch is the most developed of all and my favorite.

I can speak at length about the movie having obsessed on it for over a year... have friends and we talk on the phone about it. Think that apart from the coolness factor of film, the best improvement to the movie is Adrian's movie plan, not the comic book plan- find telepathic octopus teleporting to NYC somewhat lacking.

Look forward to talking Watchmen-

Welcome friend, we have a small, but tight community up in this bitch, so feel at home.

I gotta say though, 30 times ?! That's impressive.

Greetings, friend.

Just FYI: The admin of this forum is named DoomsdayClock. He built this place, though he generally leaves me with the day-to-day maintenance. I'm the moderator, though I prefer to think of myself as the lunatic who runs the asylum.

Everyone else you'll come to know in due time. Welcome aboard.
