Yeah I often wonder what happened to empire x.
I remember when he first came here, I didn't like him at all, and got into a very large pointless flame war with him.
Then I started to realise that a lot of things he said were things that I was thinking, and his opinions were similar to mine. I warmed to him. Seemed like a cool guy.
Where the fuck did he go?

Unfortunately, some members are going to bail after the film hype dies down.

Carl is gone. He bailed a long time ago. Before the movie was even released in theaters. He's not a mod anymore either.

Yeah, why do people leave just because the movie shenanigans have finished? There's still so much to discuss.

A guy who had a cool Comedian costume and was also a mod here at one point.

I may be way off the mark here, but I was wondering about the Comedian's mask. I read somewhere that it was a "rapist mask". If that's true, then it seems a bit of a strange thing to wear. Why would he want to advertise the fact that he's a rapist? Other possibility is that it's more likely to be a gimp mask, something used in S&M. Is that to show he's sadistic or something? Am confused, and you people are the best at de-mistifying.

You mean the so-called "Gimp mask"? After Vietnam he needed a face mask to cover his scar...

I really don't know. But when I noticed a month ago that he hadn't logged in to the forum since mid-February 2009, I assumed he was done here. At this time we don't need a second mod anyway.

Any chance of the actors that portray the Minutemen will do comic-con appearances? Who else is tired of seeing the guy that played Mike TV in the original Willy Wonka or that chik that was in a background shot from the pod race scene in Phantom Menace?

^That would be cool. Were they not there this year? I wish I could go to Comic-Con but the goddam Atlantic's in the way. Is there a TV channel over there that covers the whole event?


Right yeah, that would make sense. Why do I never think these things through.

Heres a question I've been wanting to ask on here for awhile. How many times did you guys see Watchmen in the cinema? I personally only saw it at the cinema once as it was an 18, and me being only 15 at the time I coulnd't get in on my own. I just went with my dad and got him to buy the tickets whilst I was waiting in the foyer and suprisingly they let me in. Cool experiance for me. So what about you guys?

Three times for me.

Theatrical cut three times, once in IMAX and the Director's Cut once.

Twice in a normal movie theater, once in an imax theater, and once at a Drive-In.

So 4 times.

Theatrical cut 3 times, 2 of them on the premiere day, and the other on IMAX.
Director's cut = 4 times

So, that would be 7 times.
