Well, I don't mind waiting if I have to for Doc Manhattan photos. The Comicon at San Diego seems the most logical time. Man, it's going to be cool seeing a trailer! I mean actually seeing this thing in motion! Seeing Patrick Wilson in glasses and old suit, seeing Goode as Veidt, etc. I'd like to see the characters out of costume.

One thing about Jon, I wonder, is how much like Crudup will he be? Just a bald and blue Crudup, or one with a muscular physique?

Damn, would it kill you guys to stop asking about the Manhattan pics for one second? I understand the anticipation, but I think that if DD or Curiosity had information as to when they would be surfacing, they would tell us.

i almost guarantee that no-one will see anything to do with manhattan until san diego comic con.

hmmm...i remember u telling something about a friend of yours that was in the production...hmmm...

and now i wonder about who could be the guys of the production crew actually signed in this site...

i guess that crudup, in watchmen, turned out to be like the hot blonde - only the head matters.

I'm going to guess that the only part of Crudup transferring to Manhattan will be his face, his movements, and his voice. Even if Crudup did build muscle for the role, I don't think he'd be able to reach the "perfect man" physique that Manhattan has.

What if they didn't film Crudup's scenes yet because he's still working out?

The set reports we have all say that Crudup was on set, wearing mo-cap equipment with blue LEDs. They've shot his scenes.

Heh, that keeps getting me confused. I sometimes pronounce Rorschach as "Raw shark."

Speaking of that, here's another question: How do you pronounce "Rorschach?" I've heard different variations (like "raaah-shack," "rour-shack," and "row-shock") but I don't know the correct pronunciation. In fact, I need to know because I don't want to mispronounce the name when I cosplay as him. I did that before when I cosplayed as an anime character years ago. :x

I was just thinking about this today. My own accent would be considered standard midwestern, a neutral American accent, and I pronounce Rorschach like "roar-shock". Like many U.S.A. accents mine is rhotic, meaning I pronounce the letter 'r' always, so "roar shock" and "raw shark" don't really sound that similar. In non-rhotic accents, like English Received Pronunciation, New York City, and Boston accents, the two probably sound closer, more like "rah shock".

Wow, thanks for the information. :) That's very interesting and it clears my confusion. I have a Californian accent but 'll try to pronounce Rorschach's name using a New Yorker accent since the character is from NYC.

Bunny Critters, I find it odd that your objections to me were only voiced once I abandoned the site. Male or female, I frankly would prefer the courage of your convictions to your behind the back comments.

Courage was not the reason, the proper opportunity to voice my opinions had not presented itself before now. In the past, I had found no reason to go off topic of a thread to "stoke the fire" by commenting on people's behavior within the forum. I would have written the exact same reply to Darkweaver's comment even if you had been still active on the site.

My signature is posted only out of curiosity to see how large the female population was in the forum and has nothing to do with anything else.

Though, in regards to everyone else, I still enjoy reading your posts and respect your opinions and If you ever wish to return to the forum you are more than welcome to.

I'd go with Oz-a-MAN-dee-us.

Um...Peruvian? Ancient Egyptian.

And BunnyCritters, I'm a girl.
