While some of the scenes would be fun in 3D...I gotta say, there are some parts of WATCHMEN I really don't want to experience in 3D... :o

I would think they'd want to apply the 3D technology to video games more than movies. That sounds like a better application, at least as far as I can see.

Are you saying you wouldn't want to see 3D tits? Or did you refer to the blue dick?

^^^ Actually, I don't have a problem with any of the nudity. It's the thought of exploded gangster gore dripping off the ceiling in vivid, eye-popping 3D that gives me the hibbly-gibblies. Bigtime.

The 3D gore would be a hoot! That'd take me right back to my best ever 3D movie experience, the Andy Warhol-produced Flesh For Frankenstein and Blood For Dracula double bill on the big screen back in '92!

Over at superherohype.com, they've got a poll running for best graphic novel adaptation. WATCHMEN is currently leading the rather large group.

So head on over there if you haven't already and vote for WATCHMEN. You know you want to.

Iron Man 2 Too Complicated For Moviegoers!

Hearing a lot of that from critics and have to chuckle to myself. I've seen Iron Man 2 and I thought it was pretty good. But complicated? Hardly.

Funny we wondered why critics thought WATCHMEN was hard to understand/follow. No wonder. If something like Iron Man has them baffled...

Yes, it appears that gradually we are becoming a dumber and dumber society...

How could anyone possibly consider Iron Man 2 to be too complicated?

It blends so nicely into the background, though.

Is Zack Snyder officially geek-approved?

Yes. Yes he is.

Really? I saw Iron Man 2 last week, I loved it but can't see how anyone could find it too complicated... But I agree with you about the Watchmen thing, if Iron Man 2 was complicated then maybe that's why Watchmen got some bad reviews =/ *shakes head* sad times
