I've been wanting to start a topic on this. I'm curious, what's everyone's least favorite characters?

Me, it'd probably be Richard Nixon, whoever raped Kitty Genovese, and anyone who was mean to little Walter Kovacs. But if I had to choose a masked vigilante, it would have to be Ozymandias. Sure, he seemed like a douchebag throughout the series, but not enough for me to absolutely hate him. :| After all, he saved the world at the end (...or did he?).

This isn't going to win me any friends (I've had a few glasses of wine tonight, so I feel courageous enough to post this), but I've never been that fond of Dr. Long. I never really bought that somebody who's supposedly one of the top minds in his field would be so easily duped by Kovacs' answers to the Rorschach test. In addition, I don't find his personal life that interesting, and I think most of his wife's lines are horribly written. Just my opinion.

Of the core six characters, my least favorite would have to be Laurie. I understand that her whole character arc is about taking control of her own life, but it means that for much of the book she strikes me as wishy-washy. She doesn't interest me as much as the others. I also think that had she not been present at Karnak, Dan would have fought more before deciding to go along with Veidt's plan; and I adore Dan and really, really wanted to see him take the high moral ground and "be the hero" a little more in that scene. So, yeah. Laurie.

I'll need a loooooong time to pick a least-favorite minor character.

Moloch. How a pointed-eared pansy like that could have done some of the criminal things he did is beyond me.

I didn't like Mothman, either. He seemed pretty weak willed.

I'm going to say Veidt, maybe because I'm not an "the end justified the means" person but not only did I hated his method of inducing world peace, but I also hated the fact that he was a complete sell out that not only exploited his own image, but also that of the other Crimebusters.

I forgot to add Sally's husband. Larry whatshisname. Snukes-ander. Shexlander. Highlander, whatever.

I would go with Doug Roth and Hector Godfrey. Short-sighted, sycophantic blowhards, the both of them.

Veidt, just due to the fact that hes a liberal and gay. He also looks like a pussy in the trailer.

I know people are gonna call me out on this one, but the Two Bernies are my least favorite character(s).

As sad as it was in their death scene, I never really was interested in their arc and although they were nessary to truly see the horrors of veidt's plan, but apart from that I did'nt like them.

Not the biggest fan of Gloria Long. She seemed selfish to me.
Her husband was being dragged to a VERY dark place and what does she do?

Splits. When he really needs her. Sheesh.

Granted we only got to see a moment in their marriage, but she struck me as someone who absolutely refuses to entertain the notion that bad things exist, that people can momentarily have other priorities in their lives, and that maybe it's okay to step outside your comfortable world and help those who truly need it.
I'll bet she felt it was beneath her to ask Big Bernie for help in finding Malcolm.

Same here. Although, Godfrey at least made me laugh.

It would be super cool if Godfrey was played in the movie by Rush Limbaugh (who has been on his game the past two weeks, god bless the Golden EIB microphone.) Its funny how you guys describe conservatives as "Short-sighted, sycophantic blowhards, the both of them." You guys should hear the things we call you.
I also didnt like Dr. Malcom Long, for a respected psychologist his ideals were turned pretty quickly. I think it shows either poor writing or a strong weakness of character with weak ideals.
