hi i'm doing an essay on the narative theory behind the watchmen.

i'm wondering if there are any books, or even websites containing quotes, reviews, critiques, and theories behind the watchmen by scholars, writers or journalists.

i have one book at college that has a couple of pages on the watchmen and i will get back with the title of that when i find it.

any help will be greatly appreciated

I've actually finished research exactly those types of articles for a section on this site. You've given me a reason to get it posted. Can you wait a day or two? I'll rush it up on the main site.

nice! is it possible to put the "date unavailable" articles at the other end?
that way new articles would be clearer...
i'd better start planning my taxi driver thing...

I did it this way because as it happened, the items without dates seemed to be the most detailed and complex links. I thought it would be a shame to bury them at the end. Anyone else have any thoughts on this?

maybe...perhaps absolutely brand new resources could go above them? then when they become older they could slip below them?

ok ok!

at the moment i'm doing a report on marxism in blade runner for film theory

then

i've got to write a 50 page analysis on the last 10 shots of 3 films from a list we got. exploring the reasons and effect behind each shot/angle/sound technique for production skills

then

i will write my thing about the narrative theory of watchmen

by the way the book i wanted to take out of my library with a section on watchmen was "Reading comics : language, culture and the concept of the superhero in comic books" by Milla Bongco

ok!

thanks a million for this guys, massive help.

i'll split my degree six ways when i get it

and i'll mention the site in my bibliography!
