Before you click on this link be warned that it could be bullshit. You will likely have to fill out a bunch of forms, sign up for SPAM and buy some magazine subscriptions. So, let the buyer beware. I thought I'd post it anyway in case somebody wanted to give it a try...

Hurm.

Possible fluke? Must remember to investigate further.

I am so sorely tempted to delete the link and lock this thread.

But no. It needs to be said that this scam is out there. Heck, I find it rather interesting that some ad campaign thinks that we Watchmen fans are worth scamming! Surely this is a sign of mainstream anticipation for the movie?

What if it gets worse in the eve of the film's premiere? We'll be seeing "GET A FREE RORSCHACH MASK" on every site

I made it clear that it was likely some bullshit that would be more trouble than its worth. I'd rather keep this thread open. Better to have people see this first so they don't attempt to try it, right?

Plus if any member past, present or future did do it, they can post what happened and give us the horror story (if there is one).

I was just doing it but I stopped when they asked me to register for 6 special offers to continue.

I've actually come across several links to survey's just like that one. Some claim you'll receive the paper back edition, another said you'd receive the Absolute Edition, and one said you'd receive the individual editions. So yeah, i'd say mainstream anticipation is well underway. . .
