Hey guys. I just wanted to ask. What is the range of Doctor Manhattan's powers? Is there anything he just physically cannot do? He can walk through walls, make people’s heads explode, he can just about do anything. Just asking your opinion.

As I understand it, Dr. Manhattan's powers are loosely derived from quantum theory. Anything a subatomic particle can theoretically do, Dr. Manhattan can do just as well and on a much larger scale.

Dunno. Superman before Crisis on Infinite Earths was pretty powerful (as in "I can pull several planets out of their orbits with just a chain").

Depends. Just off the top of my head, Marvel has the Beyonder, Jean Grey/Phoenix, Jamie Braddock, Proteus, and the Scarlet Witch (that whole House of M event) who could be contenders with the right set of circumstances. Of those, I'd say that the Beyonder and Phoenix are probably easily in the running.

I can't think of anyone from the DC universe who qualifies, but I'm betting there's someone.

(If I had more time, I'd dig up the "Who could defeat Dr. Manhattan?" thread for you. There are most likely more possibilities there...)

I think the real question here is, "What about Dr. Manhattan's prowlers?".

You know. The cat burglars that steal stuff for him.

What is the range of Dr. Manhattan's prowlers? Do they do overseas jobs?
