I don't think there is a god. And if there is I'm nothing like him.

I think sausage fest defines it better (save the few girl posters here that don't post as often anymore).

It's very much become a sort of social club by now, though, don't you think?

If I turned up in New York tomorrow would you let me sleep on your couch for a couple of nights?

no. You stay right there, you show up here tomorrow and i dump this pint on you.
But the women thread proves my point.

sausage fest or not, theres like what 10 people who frequent this forum?
Every other post is some kind of in-joke.
Seductive purple alone proves my point.

A new guy would be lost as fuck.
And in the past.... year? how many new members make it to 70 posts before they just stop coming?

My mom never really cares... so you'd totally be welcome at my place. You'd have to sleep in the basement, just watch out for my humping dog.

If x is the number of posts Dr. Brooklyn has, x+1 is enough ;)

So close! I thought for sure you'd got that one last post, but DAMN, I failed to take into account that x increases accordingly.

that pretty much anly narrows it down to you and ziller, and since you already live at your house, i must assume this is some kind of personal invitation to him.

So I've been thinking about making a spiritual sequel to life...

I need $10,000.

Good comics died after Watchmen, and a spiritual sequel would be awesome unfortunately there is very few things that are worth noting from post-Watchmen compared to the cons (Liefeld, McFarlene), luckily we are getting away from that, though a parody with liefeld art would be a perfect 90's satire of watchmen, unproportioned bodies and all

First of all, WELCOME TO THE FORUMS !

We are always glad to have new members.

By this premise, shouldn't you refuse to read "Before Watchmen" :o ?

On a personal note, I think McFarlane can get a pass for whatever sins he may have committed, he made Spawn, which was an actually cool character that, despite the moanings of a conservative-comic-book-reading "fanbase", was a much needed alternative to grown men in tights.

Were the succesors of Spawn disastrous ? Absolutely, but as the first of his kind, he was brilliant.

That's a silly generalization and if Smutty were still around, he'd say it's a fucking stupid generalization.

taken out of context yes it is a stupid generalization, perhaps I worded it wrong so as to convey the wrong message. What I meant was after Watchmen the 90's practically killed comics, and as I put it they are now better then the 90's. sorry for the misinterpretation, perhaps I was a tad too hasty.

Anyways thanks for the welcome :)

But he's not, so it's just a silly generalization.
