If you want a spiritual sequel go read Winicks Justice League: Generation Lost the plot is a group of has been heroes get reunited to stop a former ally of theres who's going to kill the superheroes to save the world... along the way Chicago gets blown up but because it's for the greater good he's okay with it. There are some thematic continuations, but it's original enough that Moore won't be too angry.

Yeah, the moderation around here is totally incompetent. Way too lax with these guys.

Maybe you should turn a certain loose-cannon fuckhead into a moderator then to up the ante?

Perhaps I should've written the last post in purple to make the point clearer. No matter.

I've been to dozens of other forums,
none are as awesome and cozy as the WCM.

Most are like a overly crowded room full of obnoxious geeks.
But the WCM is like going out for beer & pizza with the guys.
Good times. Rough times. The Women thread.

Geez this is better than Remaining Men Together!
NiteOwl, sounding sappy as fuck, says you guys are awesome.
No finer crew of dudes I've never really met to argue bout movies and bitch about girlfriends with.

What a load of cliche'd tripe and bollocks. This isn't a boys-club, it's a discussion forum.

I think sausage fest defines it better (save the few girl posters here that don't post as often anymore).

It's very much become a sort of social club by now, though, don't you think?

If I turned up in New York tomorrow would you let me sleep on your couch for a couple of nights?

What was great about this forum? So much... But what really stands out to me was exploration of our personalities and relevance to the current events of our lives at the time.

I would love to see a spiritual sequel to the forum. Not a direct continuation... no, that's not needed. But using the same type of formula, have a set of new members that looks at the modern personality type and modern trolls and in-jokes. Anyone else would like that?
