Don't think I've seen these posted before. The French covers.

...and by John Higgins, too. Those covers commissioned by Zenda publishing for their 1987 French reprint run are arguably a bigger showcase for his coloured painting skills than for Mr G's pencils.

Poor old John. The perpetual unsung hero of WATCHMEN.

just after i first bought Watchmen, but before i was into "the fandom", John Higgins did a signing at a bookstore in my town and i was like "who the fuck is John Higggins?" :( when i actually found out who he was, i was kicking myself

Unlike those covers above (which appear on the main WCM site in the Original Comic Merchandise section), the following are examples of WATCHMEN art that definitely hasn't been posted around here before; work produced entirely by Higgins for a new WATCHMEN portfolio made available to fans at this year's San Diego Comic Con back in July, where John participated in the Watchmen: 25 Years Later panel along with Dave Gibbons and original series editor Len Wein:

I totally agree here, the Sally one is good, Rorschach is great, but this one.... is just weird. The hands are also way too big
